Dr Debmalya Gangopadhyay is an extremely well known Endourology, Urological cancer treatment and urological reconstructive surgery specialist working in Apollo Multispeciality Hospital and around Kolkata for last several years. He is even well known among his own fraternity for his tremendous surgical skill and humane patient care.
Throughout his academic carrier, Dr Gangopadhyay has made his mark with excellent performance - be it in MBBS or his MS in general Surgery or his MCh in Urology. He had his Robot assisted advanced laparoscopic Surgery observership from Aalborg university hospital, Denmark. He secured several awards for his presentations in various academic activities of urological society of india, he has been a council member of the East Zone chapter of Urological Society of India for last two years.
He had been an international resident member of American Urology Association and an international member of European Urology Association. He is a DNB urology tutor in Apollo Multispeciality Hospital as well.
He is proficient in performing various endourological procedures for the surgical treatment of prostate and kidney diseases, the surgeries include Laser treatment of prostate diseases and stone disease of the urinary tract. He is considered one of the best in these fields.
He has a special interest in urological cancers and their surgical treatment. Along with reconstructive surgical procedures of urethra, urinary bladder and kidneys - a comprehensive treatment of urological cancers is his priority.
His patients are extremely happy with their results of TURP, HOLEP, TURBT, OIU, RIRS, LASER URSL, PCNL, Laparoscopic and robotic radical and partial nephrectomies, ureteric surgeries, cystectomies and so on.
